I just wanted to add that using the RVM install, knowing to use `bash --login` when I hop in, and ignoring the usage of any commands that utilize spring (generators, console, rake test :( ), seems to be working relatively fluidly (including the majority of rake tasks). I use Ubuntu on my desktop. When I am away from my desktop, I would like to access the session using my Windows 7 laptop. Currently, I am using xrdp to connect, but it starts up a remote session. Is If the stream is already associated with a file (i.e., it is already open), calling this function fails. The file association of a stream is kept by its internal stream buffer: Internally, the function calls rdbuf()->open(filename,mode) I navigate to folder location an use: python -m SimpleHTTPServer But this gives me error: socket.error: [Errno 48] Address already in use I had previously open a connection using the same command for a different website in a different location in my machine.
